The 2020 Vitality Blast is scheduled to be the 2020 season of the t20 Blast, a professional Twenty20 cricket league in England and Wales. It will be the second season in which the domestic T20 competition, run by the ECB, has been branded as the Vitality Blast due to a new sponsorship deal. 18 teams take part in this tournament, divided into two groups (South and North). The 2020 Vitality T20 Blast features 133 Twenty20 matches (126 group match, four quarter-finals, two semi-finals, and final). The Vitality Blast kicks off with a bang on 28 May with the London derby at the Kia Oval as Surrey host Middlesex. Defending champions Essex are at home the following day as they take on Glamorgan at the Cloudfm County Ground. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, England Cricket Board (ECB) postponed all form of cricket till May, it’s unlikely that T20 Blast might happen as per schedule, there is uncertainty about many cricket fixtures around the world including IPL 2020, T20 World Cup 2020.
