About this tournament: The Copa América de Beach Soccer 2022 is the 3rd edition of the Copa América de Beach Soccer, a biennial international beach soccer tournament contested between the senior men’s national teams of the 10 members of CONMEBOL. Paraguay will host the tournament this year from May 21 to May 29, 2022. It is also known as Copa América de Futbol Playa in Spanish.
A total of 10 CONMEBOL teams are taking part in this tournament. That are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela and Uruguay. Teams are divided into two groups. Top two teams of each group will advance to semifinals. Winners of the semifinals will play for the trophy while losers will play third place match. Rest of the teams will take part in placement matches.
