India are the defending champions. The top three teams of the tournament will qualify for the Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup 2023.A total of 8 teams have qualified for this tournament. These 8 teams are divided into two groups. Group A has four teams India, Pakistan, Japan and Indonesia. Group B has four teams Malaysia, South Korea, Oman and Bangladesh.
