The 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be the 16th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. For the first time, the video assistant referee (VAR) system will be used at the tournament. The Gold Cup is the main association football competition of the men’s national football teams governed by CONCACAF, determining the continental champion of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

The Gold Cup is held every two years. The 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup is an upcoming international football tournament to be held in the United States from 10 July to 1 August 2021. The sixteen participating national teams were required to register a squad of 23 players, of which three have to be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. Each national team had to submit a provisional list of up to sixty players (including at least four goalkeepers) to CONCACAF.

The 2021 Gold Cup will be telecasted live through the Confederation’s partner networks, including Fox Sports (USA-English), Univision (USA-Spanish), OneSoccer (Canada), Televisa (Mexico-Spanish), Futbol de Primera (USA-Spanish Radio), Teletica and Repretel (Costa Rica), Medcom and TVN (Panama), TCS (El Salvador), Televicentro (Honduras), ESPN (Central America), Flow Sports (Caribbean) and other local partners in the Caribbean, Central America and the world.

The 2021 Gold Cup will air on FOX channels, including FOX, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2 and FOX Soccer Plus. Sydney-based streaming service Sports Flick has bought broadcast rights to the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup. All matches from the North American, Central American and Caribbean national team tournament will be broadcast exclusively on Sports Flick’s digital platform on their website or App.

CONCACAF Gold Cup 2021 Schedule, Venue, Groups

The Group Stage of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup will kick start on July 10 and will run through July 20. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Quarterfinals. State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, and AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas will play host to the Quarterfinal doubleheaders on July 24 and 25, respectively.

The Semifinals will be played on July 29, in NRG Stadium in Houston, and the brand-new Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. The winners of the two semifinal matches will travel to Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium to face off in the Final on August 1.
