The women’s U20 Basketball tournament is scheduled to be played from July 6 to July 14, 2021. Hungary will host the tournament this year and total number of 16 European teams will participate in this tournament including champion Italy and host Hungary. The Executive Committee of FIBA Europe unanimously decided to move the dates of the FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship 2021 in Sopron, Hungary to July 6-14, 2021.

FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship is the 19th edition of FIBA U20 European Championship tournament. It was first started in 2000 and is held every year. Last year due to prevailing Covid-19 conditions it was cancelled. The current title holders are Italy. A total number of 16 teams take part in FIBA Women’s European Championship tournament.

Teams for this year’s FIBA Women’s European Championship 2021 are:Italy, Germany, Latvia, Belgium, Crotia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, Czech Republic, Israel, Serbia, Ireland, France, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Turkey, Portugal, Greece, Switzerland, Ukraine, Albania, Armenia, Romania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, and Kosova.
