About AfroBasket 2021

The winner from each group will automatic advance to the Quarter-Finals, while the eight teams that finish second and third from Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D will compete from August 30 to 31 for the remaining four spots for the Quarter-Finals. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Knock-Out Phase (Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals). The Third-Place Game and the Final will be played on September 5. 16 teams divided into four groups as given below:

Group A: Rwanda, DR Congo, Angola, Cape Verde
Group B: Tunisia, Central African Republic, Egypt, Guinea
Group C: Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali
