Australia and Bangladesh will play five matches T20 International (T20I) series scheduled to be held in Dhaka. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that all the matches of the five-match Twenty20 International series against Australia will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Australian team expected to arrive in Dhaka on July 29 after West Indies series.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has sold the Television rights for the home series to Ban Tech in multi-year deal till 2034 and they will broadcast Australia v Bangladesh twenty20 series in Bangladesh, this will be their second series after Sri Lanka. Ban-Tech, Gazi TV and T-Sports took part in the bidding process that was held by the BCB.
Cricket viewers in the United States can watch Australia vs Bangladesh T20I series on Willow TV. In the United Kingdom, TV coverage will be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports Cricket. For New Zealand audience’s, SKY Sport NZ is the official broadcaster, they can tune to SKY for the live coverage of series. For rest of the world, Rabbitholebd Sports will live stream all three ODI matches on their YouTube Channel.
For visitors country, Fox Sports will broadcast exclusive media coverage of the T20I series; they will telecast all matches of the competition in Australia on Fox Sports while viewers can also watch online on Foxtel Sports digital platform which is available on App and Website. Bangladesh v Australia 2021 T20I Series Schedule
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had planned to host the twenty20 series in Chattogram and Dhaka but CA was reluctant to accept it and demanded that all five T20s be played at the single venue – Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The Australia side is touring after four years to Bangladesh since their two-match Test series in 2017.
Prior to this series, Bangladesh national team will tour Zimbabwe. BCB had shorted the tour because of Australia series, one Test has been reduced from their upcoming tour of Zimbabwe, scheduled from July 7, to accommodate an additional T20I. Bangladesh initially planned to play two Tests along with three ODIs and two T20Is but later both board agreed to reduce one Test and instead add one additional T20 to make sure they can prepare for the next ICC World T20.
The ODIs are scheduled on July 16, 18 and 20 in Harare, while the three T20Is will be played on July 23, 25 and 27 at the same venue and then they will return home to face Australia team. Both side only played four games against each other, and off course, Australia dominated on all those occasions, but this time Bangladesh is more balanced side in shorten format.
