FIBA AfroBasket 2021 will be the 30th edition of the AfroBasket, a men’s basketball championship of Africa. Rawana will host The FIBA 2021 AfroBasket championship and it is schedule to be held from 24 August to 5 September 2021. The 16-nation tournament will take place in the Rwandan capital Kigali from August 24 to September 5, and all games will be played at the state-of-the-art Kigali Arena.

FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Schedule/Fixtures

The winner from each group will automatic advance to the Quarter-Finals, while the eight teams that finish second and third from Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D will compete from August 30 to 31 for the remaining four spots for the Quarter-Finals. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Knock-Out Phase (Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals). The Third-Place Game and the Final will be played on September 5.

The hosts Rwanda will qualify directly to the AfroBasket 2021 and the remaining 15 teams qualified through qualified events.
